Terms of Service
Places 360 · Last updated 21 October 2026
Places 360 is a loyalty and ordering platform operated by Digit Places Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 13863363) ("Places 360", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you use Places 360 on behalf of a business, you also agree to the business terms below.
The service
Places 360 lets customers discover participating independent businesses, collect digital loyalty stamps, redeem rewards, claim offers, and browse menus and order — for collection, at the table, for delivery where offered, or in advance (for example catering). Businesses use Places 360 to run their loyalty programme, public page, menus and ordering.
Your order is a contract with the business
When you place an order, your contract for the food, drink or service is with the business, not with us. The business sets its menu, prices, availability and preparation times, and is responsible for preparing and providing what you ordered. We provide the platform and pass your order to them. A business may decline an order before accepting it — if it does, anything you paid is refunded in full.
Payments
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. The business is the merchant of record; we never see or store your full card details.
- Prices shown include VAT where it applies. The total you see before you confirm is the total you pay.
- You can cancel an order while it is still awaiting the business's acceptance and be refunded in full. Once accepted, cancellation is at the business's discretion — they can still refund you from their order screen.
- If a business cancels or declines your paid order, the refund is issued to your original payment method automatically.
Allergens and dietary information
Menu descriptions, allergen and dietary labels are provided by each business. If you have an allergy or intolerance, always confirm directly with the venue before ordering — labels on the platform are the business's declaration, not ours, and kitchens can change.
Rewards are the business's promise
Rewards, milestones, offers and welcome gifts are defined and honoured by each participating business, not by Places 360. We provide the platform; the business provides the coffee. If a business declines to honour a legitimately earned reward, tell us — repeated abuse leads to removal from the platform.
Fair play
- One account per person. Stamps are earned through genuine visits and purchases.
- Cloning tags, forging QR codes, replaying collection links, or otherwise gaming stamp or offer collection is prohibited and leads to account termination and forfeiture of rewards.
- Businesses may apply programme rules — cooldowns, daily caps, venue-presence checks, or requiring a verified phone number for certain offers. These are part of the programme.
Your account
- You can browse without an account. An account is needed to hold loyalty cards, claim offers and see your order history.
- You must be at least 16 to create an account. Age-restricted items may not be ordered by anyone under the legal age for them.
- Keep your sign-in method secure — actions taken through your account are yours.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes and what order records are lawfully retained without your identity.
Business accounts
- You must be authorised to represent the business you operate on Places 360.
- You are responsible for everything you publish — menus, prices, images (including AI-assisted images you approve), offers, allergen and dietary information — and for honouring the rewards and orders you accept.
- You are responsible for your legal obligations to your customers, including food information, hygiene and consumer rights.
- Payments you take from your customers are processed through Stripe Connect under Stripe's terms; payouts go to the bank account you connect. Platform processing fees on those payments (our card fees) are as published or as agreed with us, plus VAT at the current rate, and are deducted per transaction. We issue you a VAT invoice for card fees every month. If we change our card fees, we will email you at least 30 days before the new fees apply to you. This is separate from paying us for your plan (see the next section).
- Customer data you receive through Places 360 may be used only for the order or service it came with, and for anything else the customer has agreed to. It is never to be resold or shared. You see a customer's account email only if they opted in to your marketing emails. You are the controller of the customer data you receive. You may send a customer marketing only with their consent, and must stop as soon as they withdraw it, whether in Places 360 or by telling you directly.
- Optional integrations (POS, printers, branded apps and websites, custom domains) are provided as described at the time you enable them.
Plans, billing and purchases for businesses
This section covers what your business buys from us: a plan, AI credits, and goods such as NFC tags. You buy these as a business, not as a consumer.
- Our plans are Free, Regulars, Growth and Branded app, as described on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices exclude VAT, and VAT at the current rate is added.
- You pay by card, through Stripe. Your plan renews each month until you cancel it.
- Invoices and receipts come from Stripe by email and show VAT. You can add your VAT number at checkout.
- An upgrade takes effect straight away and is charged pro rata for the rest of your current billing period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then your business moves to the Free plan. We do not refund part-months unless the law requires it.
- When you downgrade or cancel, features that are not in your new plan stop working. We do not delete what you created under the higher plan, such as cards, pages and history, and it comes back if you upgrade again. If you need any of it in the meantime, use the exports in the app or ask us.
- If a payment fails, we retry it and email you. If it is still unpaid 14 days after it was due, your business moves to the Free plan until it is paid.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. You can cancel before it does.
The AI features — the assistant, dish photos and menu import — run on credits.
- Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of credits, shown on the pricing page. Monthly credits reset at each renewal and do not carry over.
- Credits you buy as a top-up do not expire while your business account is open.
- The app shows what each use costs in credits. We may change those costs, and we will tell you before we do.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred.
On the Branded app plan, your business gets its own app, built on Places 360.
- There is a one-off onboarding fee of £300 + VAT, as on the pricing page. It is charged with your first month and cannot be refunded once work on your app has started.
- Your app is published under Apple and Google developer accounts in your business's own name. You pay Apple and Google for those accounts directly. You own the accounts and your app's listings.
- If you cancel or downgrade, we stop updating your app, and it stops working with Places 360 when your Branded app plan ends. We will help you remove it from sale.
We also sell NFC tags and counter stands.
- Prices exclude VAT. UK delivery is free, and we usually dispatch within 5 working days.
- Every paid plan includes one NFC tag in our standard design (on Branded app, in your own design). We send it after your first payment.
- Other custom or branded tags, and table stands, are made to order by quote. Nothing is charged until you accept a quote.
- If something arrives faulty or damaged, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will replace it free.
- Because these are business purchases, the 14-day cancellation right that consumers have does not apply. We will still consider returns of unused items.
When we process data for you
When we send emails, notifications or campaigns to your customers on your behalf, we process their data as your processor (UK GDPR Article 28). We will:
- process it only on your instructions, given through the features you use, unless the law requires otherwise;
- bind everyone who handles it to confidentiality;
- keep it secure, as described in our privacy policy;
- use only the sub-processors listed there, tell you before adding or replacing one, and hold them to the same obligations;
- help you answer people exercising their data rights, and with security, breach notification and impact assessments, as far as our role allows;
- delete or return it when you leave, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- give you the information you need to show these obligations are met, including reasonable audits.
Acceptable content
No unlawful, misleading, infringing or offensive content on business pages or in messages sent through the platform. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update features over time; material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new date, and flagged in the app when they matter.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Subject to that: we are not liable for the acts or omissions of businesses (including food safety and allergen accuracy), for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees we earned from you or your transactions in that period (plan subscriptions and platform fees).
Ending things
You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. A business can also cancel its plan at any time, as set out in the plans and billing section above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
